Happy Birthday Pandanda!

*Update* - There is now a Pandanda's 2nd Anniversary item in the Catalog available for free and for all players.




Can you believe it guys?! Pandanda is 2 years old! For all the pandas this is a very special occasion, as it has been for the last 2 years. The Pandanda team has done so much for the pandas throughout and it has continued to remain our favorite game. Henry will be visiting Pandanda several times today, so we can all get a chance to meet him and interact with him. He has mostly been visiting Misty Hill and Darby Fields to give gold to the winners :D When questioned about future events, he refused to release anything :-




The Pandanda Anniversary has been very disappointing for many pandas as there is NO GIFT this year D: What a bummer!
Henry posted about the anniversary and this is what he had to say :-

Make sure to visit Pandanda tomorrow, October 24th, to help us celebrate Pandanda's 2 Year Launch Anniversary. Pandanda ended our beta testing period on October 23rd, 2009 and launched our great site for everyone to experience on Launch Day, October 24th, 2009!

It has been a fun two years, and I am looking forward to having even MORE fun in Year 3! Do you remember some of the new things in Year 2? The Official Pandanda Blogroll was started in Pandanda's 2nd year, recognizing many of the incredible blogs about Pandanda that you all have created and maintain. I also moved and improved my Blog, adding links to photo albums of pictures that you sent in.

Questy Greybeard arrived in Pandanda Land with a catalog of Quest rewards for sale, as Questers reached higher and higher Levels. At Level 50, Questers were able to summon their very own Dragon Companions in a challenging series of Quests. Lower level Questers were also able to buy Pony and Horse Companions.

The Panda Gold program started this year, giving you new ways to get Elite memberships by buying or earning Panda Gold. Mods can also award Panda Gold in Pandanda during special games of Bunny Chase and Ghosts of Misty Hill.

Wow, I got so wrapped up in remembering the cool stuff that happened during Pandanda's 2nd year that I almost forgot to tell you...I am going to be paying some visits to Pandanda tomorrow during the 2nd Anniversary Celebration! I will visit at 2am Pandanda Time, 9am Pandanda Time, 3pm Pandanda Time, and 8pm Pandanda Time. You can click the links for each of those times to see what time it will be where you live.

If you've got a Launch shirt from way back on October 24, 2009, tomorrow would be a great day to wear it! I look forward to seeing all my Panda Pals tomorrow!

Pandanda Game Day This Saturday!!

Hey Pandas,

Last July, Pandanda had their very first Game Day - which turned out to be a huge success! :D This Saturday, Pandanda has decided to host another game day, where you can get extra coins for playing games on Pandanda, along with receiving Panda Gold for winning games against Mods! :D Henry wrote a pretty big post talking about it:

The first Pandanda Game Day back in July was so much fun, that we decided it is time for another one! So make sure your bunny nets and ghost-catching backpacks are ready to go for your chance to earn lots of coins, and maybe even Panda Gold.

You will have a chance to win Panda Gold from Moderators in games of Bunny Chase and Ghosts of Misty Hill. The Mods will be hosting as many games as they can fit into their shifts, giving you lots of chances to win Panda Gold. Instead of awarding 25 Gold for 1st place and 10 Gold for 2nd place like they usually do, they will award 250 Gold to 1st place and 100 Gold to 2nd place!

Also, every multiplayer game will award double Coins on Saturday. That means every time you play Pen the Pig, Line 4, Ghosts of Misty Hill, and Bunny Chase, you will receive twice as many Pandanda Coins as you usually do. There is no limit to the amount of Panda Coins you can win!

There is one change for Game Day to the usual rules for Panda Gold games. Normally, the rule is that you can only win Panda Gold once a day. But for Saturday only, you can win more than once a day, but you can only win Gold once from each Moderator.

For example, say you won Panda Gold from Jinxsey. If you play another game with Jinxsey and come in 1st or 2nd place, you can't win any more gold from her. But, if you see another Mod, like Maxxwell, later and play and win a game with him, you CAN win Panda Gold again! Every Mod will be keeping a list of their winners.

One rule has not changed - NO POTIONS! Just use your regular Panda skills to catch those bunnies and ghosts, with no help from turbo or bunny potions. I know everyone will play fairly!

I will be hosting some Panda Gold Games tomorrow, too! I'm planning to kick off Game Day with a visit at 12am Pandanda Time, then at 8am Pandanda Time, then again at 3pm Pandanda Time. You can click on each link to see what time it will be where you live.

Remember, you can only earn Panda Gold from games that a Moderator or I am hosting. We will be traveling around all of the servers, so you might have a better chance of winning if you play on a less-crowded server. Panda Gold games will be available from 7am-12pm Pandanda Time and again from 2-7pm Pandanda Time, but you can earn double coins all day long!

The Harvest Festival celebration is well underway and I've seen tons of excited Pandas gathering caramel apples to trade for the awesome festival prizes. The fun continues this weekend with another Free Elite Member Day this Saturday, August 27th!

Everyone who logs in on Saturday will have full access to all of Pandanda's Elite Membership features for one day!* You can use your Pandanda coins to buy anything at the Clothing Co. on East Market Street! Decorate your tree house with furniture from the House & Tree catalog, and unlock your tree house to have friends over! You can adopt a pet dragon from the Pet Shop! And you can even buy a Horse Companion from Questy, if you have reached a high enough Quest Level!

This event is for one day only starting on Saturday at 12:01am PST and ending Saturday at 11:59pm PST so don't miss out!

*Non-Elite pandas will get to keep all the Elite items purchased Saturday but will not be able to use them after Saturday without an Elite Membership, except on future Free Elite Member Days. Questy’s Horse Companions are Elite items. Dragon eggs will remain in your tree house, and will hatch later in the week.

Henry posts Beach Day pictures!

Hey Pandas!
Today Henry posted the pictures of the recently concluded Beach Day. This is what he had to say :-

I hope everyone had a great time during the Beach Party on Wednesday. I know I did! I spent a little over 4 hours visiting with my panda pals during the day, and I made lots of new friends.

Coconut Beach was full of pandas having fun in the sun and sand. Let me tell you, that sand can get HOT!

Then it was time to cool down by splashing around in the Pandanda ocean waves.

All that activity made us hungry, so we toasted marshmallows and made s'mores around the bonfire- so yummy!

Pink Panic Color Day on Pandanda!

So if your one of those pandas who love dressing up, today is Pink Day on Pandanda! Henry updated his blog with some facts about the color Pink:

It's Thursday, so it must be PINK PANIC COLOR DAY!! Mod Jule sent in a Think Pink picture to help inspire everyone to dress in as much pink as possible today!


Did you know that the color pink can make you feel energetic and confident? When you are really happy you might say you are "tickled pink!" And when we feel in good health, we are "in the pink!"


Put on your pink Panda Paint, pink clothes, pink accessories, and anything else pink you can find. Get a HUGE crowd of pink pandas together and change the Purple Door to the Pink Door!

Henry Talks about Game Day!

Henry just updated his blog with information on the first official Game Day on Pandanda!

Hi friends! It's time to grab your bunny nets and ghost-catching backpacks and get ready for the first ever Pandanda Game Day!! Most of you have probably noticed that the Mods and I sometimes host games of Bunny Chase and Ghosts of Misty Hill, where we award Panda Gold to the 1st and 2nd place winners.

Well, we are going to kick it up a notch tomorrow, Saturday, July 16th, during Game Day. The Mods are going to be hosting as many games as they can fit into their shifts, giving you lots of chances to win Panda Gold. But here's where it gets REALLY exciting! Instead of winning 25 Gold for 1st place and 10 Gold for 2nd place...wait for it, wait for it...1st place will get 250 Gold and 2nd place will get 100 Gold!

And that's not all! Every multiplayer game will award double Coins on Saturday. That means every time you play Pen the Pig, Line 4, Ghosts of Misty Hill, and Bunny Chase, you will receive twice as many Pandanda Coins as you usually do. You can win as many Pandanda Coins as you are able. Awesome!

New Pandanda Companions are Here!!!

Hey Pandas,

Like Henry promised, New Pandanda Companions are here! The new Companions are Ponies, and Horses! :D

The companions are avaliable for level 10's, 15's, and 20's, depending on the color, however, currently the companions are only for members! But, non-members will be able to purchase the companions next week, with Pandanda Gold!

Head over to Questy Greybeard in the tree house lobby, to see the now-updated Quest Rewards Catalog!

Ponies are starting at 5000 coins, for level 10's!

Along with that, Pandanda added the Dragon Beacon Staffs to be sold to panda's! :D These have been a popular request ever since dragons first came out!

And, now you can buy other-color dragons, too! :D Instead of just Blue and Gray, Level 55's can buy Green Dragons, and Level 60's can buy Red ones too! :P

So, what is the difference between ponies and horses!?

Well, Horses are much larger, and they have hair near their feet, unlike the ponies!

Pandanda Henry's Blog: March of the Snowmen!

Hey pandas! The March of the Snowmen even is coming TOMORROW!! I'm uber-excited to see this party-type-thing haha :) Personally, I think snowmen are awesome, and Pandanda is awesome of course! So snowmen and Pandanda put together just makes this even sound sweet!! xD Haha anywho, Henry just posted some more info about the March of the Snowmen.

March of the Snowmen! January 17th, 2011

What goes “Wacka wacka woooooo?” A bunch of Manic Monday pandas, that’s what! I saw some really wild and crazy outfits during my visits today, and I had a blast hanging out with everyone! Sheriff Steele says he had a great time, too! We will definitely have to plan another Manic Monday sometime! The March of the Snowmen begins tomorrow and goes until Thursday, January 27. There will be 2 extra Quests each day, special decorations, and maybe, just maybe….Marching Snowmen! And don’t forget to mark your calendar for the first Free Elite Member Day of 2011, Saturday, January 29. I’ll have more information about that soon!

Cool, right? :D I always love the decorations that PD puts up, they're very festive and unique in my opinion. I also like being able to do NEW quests(I mean c'mon PD needs to add more new quests, amirite?)! So, what do you think of the March of the Snowmen? Henry Talks about Snow Falling on Pandanda & More!!

In other news, I've recently heard rumor of a new Pandanda resident that should be arriving sometime in December! It's said that he goes by the name Questy Greybeard. Hmmm, I'll keep you posted as I learn more details!

Pandanda Level 20 Questers!

Let’s give three cheers for Blowsight10 for being the very first Panda to reach Level 20! That is quite an accomplishment. You might remember that Blowsight10 was also the first Panda to reach Level 10. Wow!

Blowsight10 wasn’t the only Panda to reach Level 20 on Monday, though. These dedicated Pandas also made it to this impressive milestone. Make sure to congratulate them all for their hard work!

A huge decrease of Pandanda players during the time between Level 10 and Level 20. There was about 89 Pandanda players that were Level 10 when announce, but now for Level 20 ONLY 27 Pandanda players are left from the 89 before! :O Pretty shocking to me, I think, on the great decrease of players, who couldn't continue to catch up.

And here is a picture I took of myself in my treehouse, right after I turn to Level 20 and completed all my quests! ^.^

Other than that, Im addicted to quests always waiting for the new ones to come out and complete all of them right after, hehehe. xD So what level are you on right now Pandas?? :P

Pandanda Show Off Your Questing Skills!

Hi Everyone!

We made a few updates to Pandanda last night that I think you’ll like. Elite Members now have expanded closet space, just in time for the Pumpkin Festival. Also, when you check out someone’s player card, not only will you see their Quest Level, you’ll also see how many Quests they have completed. It’s a great way to compare your Quest accomplishments with your friends!

Awesome! Finally more closet space for elite pandas. I hate when you have to sell some items if you want to buy more. Now you don't have to worry! It's pretty neat to see how many quests pandas have completed, too :)

Quests Sneak Peek Part 3!

Hey Pandas! Today Henry released a new Quest Sneak Peek on his blog, regarding The Quest Log!

This is part 3 of the Quests sneak peek. Make sure to read parts 1 and 2 below if you haven't already. Today I'll be talking about the Quest Log and Player Card changes.

As I mentioned in part 1, each day you'll find Pandas that have quests for you to do. That Panda will tell you what you need to do in order to complete the quest. But what if you're in the middle of a quest and you're not sure what to do next? You can open up your Quest Log! It's a helpful tool for keeping track of all your active quests.

Once you've accepted a quest, it will go into your Quest Log. There you can view the details of all your currently active quests, what you need to do for each quest, and quickly see how much you've already done. The Quest Log will hold up to 5 quests at a time and you can open it from the menu bar whenever you need help or just want to see the progress of your quests. Of course you can also talk to the Panda that gave you the quest for more information.

Your Panda's level is really important and there will be a new display to show you your Panda's level and how close you are to the next level. Your Panda's level will also be listed on your Player Card for others to see.

On the bottom image, you can see some items like strawberries, carrots and milk. So, Maybe this is why Lemons were added to the Orchard Recently!! :D
